Ich bin gerade dabei, den P2Pool JToomim Fork auf emark anzupassen.

Für die networks habe ich einfach mal die normale bitcoin.py als emark angelegt und nur ein paar Anpassungen gemacht.

Jetzt geht es darum, die passenden Werte für die emark.py zu finden

Es sind oft noch die Standartwerte von der kopierten bitcoin.py enthalten, es geht darum, den Code jetzt mit Eurer Hilfe anzupassen.

Die Tests kann ich dann mithilfe meiner Miner auf meinem Server durchführen und das Netzwerk sozusagen "anzuminen"

Vielen Dank, damit wäre die eMark um ein Mining Netzwerk reicher und findet dann wahrscheinlich auch mehr Verbreitung.

Sieht so aus, als ob die EMark Daemon RPC Abfragen anders sind, als bei aktuellen anderen Daemons, oder ist es doch ein Config Fehler ?

Das kann sein, in der src/rpcserver.h finde ich zumindest nicht getblockchaininfo

Bei der eMark läuft das unter getinfo

Du kannst die Befehle über die eMark-qt (über die Konsole) oder über eMarkd(aemon) testen.

Ich glaube es liegt an den letzten P2Pool Forks, dort wurde die getinfo kürzlich erst entfernt, weil alle neueren Daemons das nicht mehr haben.

Ich denke es liegt an den 6 statt 8 Nachkommastellen der eMark, wie könnte man das anpassen ?

Der P2Pool an sich läuft seit gestern stabil durch und hat eine Effizienz von über 95%, es bleibt nur das Problem mit den Nachkommastellen

Also die coinbase liefert von Anfang an nur einen 6 (nach)stelligen Wert, und da liegt das Problem...

Ja war auf dem Holzweg mit den Nachkommastellen, ich werde jetzt ein eigenes Subsidy Install Script schreiben und auch die work.py anpassen.

Wenn alles klappt, veröffentliche ich dann ein eigenes komplettes EMark P2Pool Repo, stay tuned...

Wäre auch nicht schlecht, wenn man mit dem nächsten EMark Release vielleicht die alte getinfo Geschichte ausbaut, wie bei anderen aktuellen Daemons.

Dann kann ich auch die neuesten P2Pool Forks an die eMark anpassen.

Oh, daran wollte ich mich noch nicht wagen, hab bisher meistens nur gescriptet und rumgebastelt.

Aber am Core zu bauen, ist schon was ganz anderes

Die Vorlage habe ich vom Digibyte Subsidy Script, daher sind noch nicht alle Werte angepasst.

Die Subsidy Scripte erledigen genau das, was bei der eMark so Probleme macht, sonst würde es ja schon längst nen P2Pool geben.

Ich kann dann die Variable in die emark.py einsetzen:

Also ich stecke gerade in einer "Versions-Zwickmühle":

Meine Anpassungen funktionieren mit älteren P2Pool Versionen, haben jedoch den Block_Value Fehler, der bei neueren P2Pool Versionen wahrscheinlich behoben ist.

Dafür habe ich mir z.B. die Digibyte Forks genauer angeschaut, da diese der eMark sehr ähnlich sind.

Es müsste der Deamon erneuert und die get_info gegen blockchain_info ausgetauscht werden.

Dann kann ich neuere P2Pool Versionen umsetzen und vielleicht den Block_Value Fehler umgehen.

Das wäre der Idealfall.

Eher gefragt, besteht überhaupt Interesse an einer P2Pool Fork ?

Also ich setze generell auf das P2Poolsystem, da man weltweit einfach mehr Blöcke erreicht und die Auszahlungen auch generell etwas höher sind als bei zentralen Pools.

z.B. werden alle TX Gebühren auf alle Miner verteilt, das gibts sonstwo kaum.

Oder ich baue erstmal, bis es eine Lösung gibt, einen Pool auf Nomp Basis auf.

Ich will ja auch niemand Konkurrenz machen, da ich z.B. Glenns Pool sehr schätze und auch schon bei Ihm gemined & donated habe.

Gibt es eine Begrenzung bei PoW Blöcken?

Ich vermute, dass max 720 Blöcke pro Tag erzeugt werden können, ist das korrekt? Zusammen mit den PoS Blöcken wären das dann 1440.
Natürlich könnte das geringfügig überschritten werden, aber irgendwo muss ja ein Sollwert sein, den man mit der difficulty versucht zu erreichen.
